India v England, 1st ODI, Hyderabad
Television audiences in India and England were deprived of the first three overs of the opening match of the five-match ODI between India and England in Hyderabad, as well as the conventional pre-match programming, due to what were explained as "technical issues." This was India's first fixture at home after their World Cup victory - and also after the disastrous tour of England.
